Today is the day! I finished my novel in February and have been dreading picking it up again, but I have left it a good few weeks now, and I think it's ready to be edited. Am I ready to edit it? Hmm, I think so. I need to delve back into the lives of Abbie and Alex. Wish me luck. It's a bit like sewing in the ends of a finished crochet piece. Everyone hates it, but it has to be done. Monday 16 February - first draft of Darkness Reigns is finished. After at least 15 years of picking this story up and putting it back down, all the while the characters wanting their story told, it is finally done. I can't believe it. I finally typed the words THE END. 79153 words later, and it is all over. It may have taken me a while, but I learnt a lot along the way and met some fabulous people. The first draft is now done.
