Words, Words, Words

Good afternoon. This is just a quick update on how it's going. It's not as well as I had hoped, but I am getting there.

At the last count, I was at 53,972 words and still need to add two more chapter word counts. We have just come through a major emotional incident, so now we're writing about the aftermath of that. We are coming to an end, and I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

In a strange way, I will be sad when I finally say goodbye to these characters and have to close the book on them. But I have other characters screaming in my head, wanting their stories told.

Anyway, it was just a quick update. Hang in there, I am getting there.
