Back to School They Go, Hey Ho

ree

I had been going great guns; there was less procrastinating and more writing. I decided to set myself a goal of writing for at least an hour a day. Which was working, may I add. Some days I was writing for longer, awesomeness.

Then the Halloween holidays hit. The kids are off school for a week. Now, when I say 'kids,' one is a teenager, and the other is not that far behind his brother.

Guilt kicks in. Okay, you won't have many more 'holidays' as they get older, so everything I wanted to do or achieve gets put on hold while we do Halloween.

Roll on Monday, they are back to school. Yippeeeeee! I love them dearly, but I need my writing time again. Of course, the discipline of writing an hour a day has yet to rear its lovely head again, well, until today. It's now 12.20 and I still haven't written anything. I have faffed around, but hopefully I will get the pen and paper out soon, or that will be another day of no writing.
